Activity 24: Complete a Peer Review

It is valuable to receive feedback from your peers especially because they have experienced and written a paper just like you. For this assignment, your instructor will provide you with one of your classmate’s papers to review. To prepare, view a photo of the person’s artwork(s), look back at the assignment, and read through the questions in this activity.

Evaluate your classmate's paper by answering the following questions:

• Did your classmate cover all required topics? If not, what is missing? If so, how did you confirm the assignment was complete?
• Are any parts of the paper not comprehensive enough or too comprehensive? If so, what needs to be fleshed out or cut? If not, pick one topic where you think your classmate excelled in being appropriately comprehensive. Why is this topic complete while not being too lengthy?
• Is the paper arranged into a coherent organization? If not, how can the organization be improved? If so, why specifically do you think it is well organized?
• Do you think there are any mistakes or misinterpretations in the paper? If so, what needs to be corrected? If not, pick one topic where you think your classmate excelled in having an exceptional interpretation. Why is this topic so well interpreted?
• Are there any parts of the paper that need to be explained more clearly? If so, what needs clarifying? If not, pick one topic where you think your classmate excelled in being clear. Why is this topic so easy to understand?
• Are there any other issues that you believe your classmate should address? If so, what are they?
• What is the biggest strength of the paper? Reference a specific part of the paper.
