The Recovering Voices Program at the Smithsonian Institution supports communities and scholars to document, revitalize, and sustain languages and the knowledge embedded in them. They work with partner organizations to support research and projects focusing on language and knowledge sustainability.

A three-hour program that includes five units that challenge participants to consider how language is used in the United States. Provided by PBS, the curriculum illustrates the heterogeneity of language use.
