- The Employment Bill promised for May 2021 never appeared and there is no news about whether or when it might be published.
- In July 2019 the government issued a proposal dealing with the use of confidentiality clauses. (This was in response to a consultation paper issued in March 2019.) The government proposes to legislate to ensure that a confidentiality clause cannot prevent an individual disclosing to the police, regulated health and care professionals or legal professionals. - In April 2020 the Law Commission published a report on ‘Employment Law Hearing Structures’ dealing with such matters as jurisdiction and time limits. The report which is 200 pages long can be found on the LawCom project page.
- In September 2021 the government issued a consultation paper to discuss changes to the Flexible Working Regulations 2014. See ‘Making flexible working the default’.
- The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill contains some very minor amendments to existing legislation in Schedule 19. As does Schedule 1 of the Health and Care Bill and Schedule 5 of the Judicial Review and Courts Bill.
