  1. The Employment Bill promised for May 2021 never appeared and there is no news about whether or when it might be published.
  2. In July 2019 the government issued a proposal dealing with the use of confidentiality clauses. (This was in response to a consultation paper issued in March 2019.) The government proposes to legislate to ensure that a confidentiality clause cannot prevent an individual disclosing to the police, regulated health and care professionals or legal professionals.   3. In April 2020 the Law Commission published a report on ‘Employment Law Hearing Structures’ dealing with such matters as jurisdiction and time limits. The report which is 200 pages long can be found on the LawCom project page.
  4. In September 2021 the government issued a consultation paper to discuss changes to the Flexible Working Regulations 2014. See ‘Making flexible working the default’.
  5. The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill contains some very minor amendments to existing legislation in Schedule 19. As does Schedule 1 of the Health and Care Bill and Schedule 5 of the Judicial Review and Courts Bill.
