Robert F. Kennedy Speaks After Martin Luther King Jr. Killed (Video)

In 1968, Robert F. Kennedy (the younger brother of John F. Kennedy) was a U.S. presidential candidate. On April 4th of that year he was on his way to a campaign event in Indianapolis, Indiana, when he learned about the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. He was the first to inform many in the gathered crowd of that news, and many urged him not to go at all for fear of riots. He went anyways, and delivered a short impromptu speech to the audience. Many cities around the United States experienced riots that night, but not Indianapolis. Kennedy himself was assassinated two months later.
