Home page of the Public Law Project (PLP), an independent, national legal charity which aims to improve access to public law remedies for those whose access is restricted by poverty, discrimination or other similar barriers. Its work comprises a mix of legal advice and representation, training and policy and research.
The UK Administrative Justice Institute (UKAJI) was established in 2014 and funded by the Nuffield Foundation for three years (2014-17) to kickstart the expansion of empirical research on administrative justice in the UK. Since January 2018 it has been funded by the University of Essex School of Law to progress that research agenda, focusing on: the operation of different administrative justice mechanisms; encouraging good early decision-making; efficiency and effectiveness of administrative justice systems; access to justice and enforcement and outcomes.
