    The new NAFTA (USMCA, signed on October 1, 2018) was introduced in the Canadian parliament for the required ratification. This episode discusses the economic implications of this agreement for Canada. This agreement shows how domestic politics is linked with international politics. When the US President Donald Trump came into power, he vowed to renegotiate the NAFTA agreement and the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, had to take into account domestic politics in finalizing the new agreement.
