Macroeconomic issues and measurement

The economy section of the National Statistics Office is the gateway to up-to-date data on most aspects of the UK macroeconomy. One fairly recent change has been in the measurement of inflation: the UK's inflation target will now be based on a Consumer Price Index (CPI - renamed from Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices), replacing the various RPI measures, although they will continue to be published.

Manfred Gärtener's EurMacro site offers a nice interactive visualisation of the circular flow of income.
