Using the United Nations Human Rights portal (http://www.un.org/en/rights/), the web sites of governments, and news media web sites:

  1. Compare what the three kinds of organizations report about a specific case of human rights abuse.
  2. Compare what the three kinds of organizations report about a humanitarian intervention. You are looking for explanations for the decision to intervene, or not to intervene.
  3. Prepare a multimedia presentation to report your findings to your classmates.
