Making Foreign Policy

Try to determine if size does make a difference in the foreign policy goals of governments. Visit the web sites of several of the countries mentioned in this chapter. Do the governments have different goals? Different activities? Make a Powerpoint slide set to present your findings to the class.
Pick a recent international conference and compare the predicted behavior (foreign policy strategy, effects of size and resources) discussed in this chapter with the actual behavior of the country at the conference.
Look up citizenship requirements of several countries you are somewhat familiar with. Make a list of countries that display elements of civic nationalism and others that seem to be ethnonationalist.
