Realism, Liberalism, and Critical Theories
  1. Choose any current topic in international politics. Explain the situation from a realist perspective, a liberal perspective, and at least one critical perspective.
  2. Look up recent developments in great power relations, such as Russia-US relations or China-US relations. Do you see reasons for optimism or pessimism?
  3. Select either the Korean War or the Vietnam War and read about the chosen conflict. Explain US involvement from two competing perspectives.
