This is a thought-provoking article, which starts with a story of suicide. Please only access it if you feel able to do so. The article explores anxiety conditions and the most devastating outcome for those who don’t get the support they need. It underlines the importance of getting whatever level of support you need – from medical/counselling interventions, to support from lecturers and colleagues, depending on the seriousness of your situation. Even for those very confident speaking, this article will give you an appreciation for what you colleagues may be facing.
