Cross-borders mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are an important element of FDI and the process of globalization.

1. Collect data on the number and value of cross-border M&As from the financial crisis of 2007/08. Present the information in a table or chart.
2. Analyse the changes in the levels of M&A activity.
3. Advance explanations for the changes.
