Since becoming part of the Department of Homeland Security in 2003, I focus exclusively on immigration and citizenship services.

I am a police agency that prevents, detects, and investigates criminal acts and enforces traffic regulations throughout congressional buildings, parks, and thoroughfares. My officers also protect members of Congress, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and their families.

I am a Treasury Department agency that supports law enforcement investigative efforts and fosters interagency and global cooperation against domestic and international financial crimes. I also provide policy makers with strategic analyses of domestic and worldwide money laundering developments.

Located within the Department of Homeland Security, I manage, control, and protect the nation’s borders at and between the official ports of entry.

I coordinate, direct, and perform highly specialized activities to protect U.S. information systems and produce foreign intelligence information. One of the most important government centers of foreign language analysis and research, I protect all classified and sensitive information that is stored or sent through U.S. government equipment. I also conduct one of the government’s leading research and development programs.
