Electoral System

The system used in France is TRS – Two Round System, where the voter casts a vote for their candidate but if any of the candidates do not receive needed number of votes, candidates that have less than a certain proportion of the votes or all but the two candidates with the highest number of votes are eliminated and a second round is held.
