Exercise 2

Negative brand-self connections.

Choose a brand that you are aware attracts negative communications on the internet (e.g.  http://www.dumpstarbucks.com/;  http://www.mcspotlight.org/index.shtml).

Search for negative information about this brand online, and analyse the way that communications against these brands relate to aspects of self-identity. Make suggestions to the company as to how they might go about reversing the brand-hate/damage to the brand.
