Alternative Figure 6.5B: Spinal Cord Arterial Supply – Cross Section

An illustration of the cross-sectional spinal cord shows the regions supplied by the anterior and posterior spinal arteries. The anterior spinal artery supplies approximately the anterior two-thirds of the cord, including the anterior horns and the anterior lateral white matter columns. The posterior spinal arteries supply the posterior dorsal column and part of the posterior horns.
