The Citizen Lab https://citizenlab.ca/ is hosted by the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto and is an innovative outfit standing at the intersection of digital media, global security, and human rights. The Citizen Lab has helped produce a series of reports that have, among other things, uncovered an alleged Chinese cyber espionage ring and exposed the sale of Internet filtering technologies by Western corporations to authoritarian regimes.
