Take a look at consumer rights groups and complaint sites, such as https://www.gov.uk (see website below), who deal with problems associated with credit and store cards, faulty goods, counterfeit goods, poor service, problems with contracts, problems with builders, and rogue traders.
Think of potential scenarios where companies might use manipulative practices in each complaint category and how this would impact on the customer. You can use your own previous experience or create a hypothetical scenario.
Visit the consumer action group forum (see website below). In what ways do they provide reassurance to the consumer and seek to provide them with support against being the victim of manipulative practices in marketing?
