Naming. Ask the patient to name some easy objects (e.g., pen, watch, tie, and so on) and some more difficult-to-name objects (e.g., fingernail, belt buckle, stethoscope, and so on). Naming parts of objects is often more difficult and should also be tested. Write down what was said to enable follow-up comparisons.
