Instructions

In this experiment, there will be a learning portion and a recall portion.

  1. For the learning portion of this experiment you will be presented with a stream of cue-word pairs. Each pair will consist of two stimuli: the stimuli on the left is a cue, and the stimuli on the right, always a word in UPPERCASE letters, is a word that you need to remember for the recall portion of this experiment. As the word pairs are presented, try to remember the cue and the word being presented.
  2. In the recall portion of this experiment, you will be presented with a stimulus similar to those you saw in the learning portion, except two letters will be missing from the target portion on the right. Your task for each trial is to enter the letters needed to fill in the target on the right so that it matches a word you saw during the learning portion.

You will be presented with 54 pairs during the learning portion of the experiment, and complete 54 recall trials. At the end, your results will be shown. Press "Next" to begin.
