Debriefing
Look at the typical results from a Brown-Peterson paradigm experiment, in which a participant must hold consonants in short-term memory over a variable period of time during which they are doing a math task. Letter accuracy is only shown for trials where math accuracy is at least 75%. As you can see, as the number of intervening math problems increases, accuracy at recalling the original set of consonants decreases.
