Instructions

In this experiment you will be presented with three consonants on each trial. At the end of the trial you will be asked to type in these consonants.

  1. At the beginning of each trial, you will see a fixation '+' which you should focus on. When you are ready to begin a trial, press the space bar.
  2. You will be presented with three consonants. After you are presented with the consonants, you will be shown a math problem. If the math problem is correct, press the ‘D’ key. If the math problem is incorrect, press the ‘K’ key. Try to be quick but accurate; your trial will not be valid if problems are answered incorrectly.
  3. After you have responded to all the math problems for that trial, you will be asked to enter the three consonants. You will then begin your next trial.

You will complete 2 practice trials and 20 experimental trials. At the end, you will be shown your results. Press "Next" to begin.
