Your advisers inform you that the legislature has passed a relief bill in both the House of Representatives and Senate and that bill is sitting on your desk. Your legal team has flagged a number of provisions in the bill that would overreach into federal sovereignty and that the state cannot therefore enact legally. As governor, you are able to send the bill back with line item vetoes and amendments.
